E.B.A wages/rates???????
Could somebody tell me what this means, seen it on a few job advertisements for bricklayers???

i'm sure this means that the salary is basic award. Basically that means the equivalent of the minimum wage you can be paid for your particular trade, obviously this varies from trade to trade

EBA is Enterprise Bargaining Agreement, which is basically an agreement between the unions and employers on terms and conditions. They usually last 3 to 4 years.
We are just about to vote on one which sets out our pay rises etc for the next 4 years. Not all industries have them.
They are all listed on an aussie gov website which I can't remember - try google.

Here's an example with bricklayers in it, in is specific to Victoria but it gives the general idea.
