Re: DVD euro region code
If you've got a PC with a dvd burner you can use dvd decrypter software to read + re-burn with region free code ( region Zero ) then you'll have your own copy of your DVD to play on your own equipment ( this is not illegal to best of my knowledge)
Or you can get your DVD player to be region free - search on this forum for some weblinks to that ( or just stick DVD Region Hack in google ) (nor is this !).

Try a Sony DVP-NS575P multi-region DVD/CD/JPEG/MP3 etc etc, available at Myer department stores for around AUD$199. just bought one to play my wife's UK dvds that she got for christmas and birthday.

There are, like mentioned, plenty of threads on how to get a regionless dvd player, if you say what yours is, I'm sure someone could put you in the right direction.

I bought a cheap TEAC Dvd player from K-mart for $89 and it plays the UK Dvd's....
