Can anyone tell me if our DVD/CD collection will work on oz machines ?

Plum,

Audio CD's work the same the world over!

DVD are a different story, they are regional and Australia is a different region. You might be able to turn your player in to multi regional one, or just get a multi region player and you should be fine.

Thanks Mark............i've just brought an new lap top (toshiba) with DVD player , i take it that will also be a problem (wrong region) ?

ps its a toshiba satellite !

Plumb,

which model, I've got a P10.
There are several progs taht allow you to reset the region changes on the pc & software to decode the DVD & then rewrite them etc.

For the laptop / PC try DVD Genie and for an 'under-TV' player, try DVD Hacks.
