Just wondered if anyone else local making the move and which State are you going to?

We're heading to South Australia shortly - am already on Adbrits.

Wanted to do this as a poll but couldn't work out how to, Bill normally does all the posts.

My friend 'Curly' is from around the Merry Hill area....I've replied for her as shes currently in Australia on a reccie trip, checking out Adelaide and Gold Coast......
We've just returned from our reccie looking at the same areas and Brisbane and we liked Brissie and GC...just waiting for the citizenship to be approved............ C x

Kaz is from Wolves and me Brum. A lad i worked with is from Dudley and at the moment they are waiting to get their visas, before coming to the Gold coast. It seems like a bit of a West mids exodus at the moment. Good luck to all of you going through the grind of emigration, its well worth it.Quill

We have been in Adelaide nearly 11 months now.

Hi there we were from Stourbridge before moving to Bristol and then on to country Victoria. Been here nearly a year now and although I do miss shopping at the Merry Hill (we don't have shopping malls where I am living ) It is not enough to make us consider returning there.
I met a guy from Kidderminster here a few weeks ago which was a bit of a shock (country Victoria doesn't have the high expat element that you get in the cities).
