Dual citizenship UK/Oz
Hi,
I'm sure I could look this up on the citizenship site, but I just feel like asking here!
If I become an Australian citizen can I keep my UK citizenship?
I was told by someone last week that I can't, but I don't think they're right (at least I hope they're not).
I'm not really sure there is any real advantage to becoming a citizen, but I know that I won't do it if it means I lose my UK passport.
I'm sure I could look this up on the citizenship site, but I just feel like asking here!

Yes you can have dual citizenship. They changed the rules i think.

Damn, it's the first thread I've started in about a year, and I've just noticed someone in the immigration forum beat me to it.

Yes you can both an Australian and British passport at the same time - I have both.
