Check the Vic Roads website. PRs can normally drive using an overseas licence (as long as it's in English) for 6 months then you will need to apply for a Vic Licence. Depending on where the licence is from and your age/experience will dictate whether it's a straight swap or you will need to sit tests x

Just don't drive like they drive in the UAE or you won't have a license for long. ;)

My FB memories came up this morning - six years ago "Idiot ploughed into us at the lights this morning on the way to school, we then hit the car in front and then he hit us again, pushing us even further into the car in front." Fortunately I didn't spend time in the clink as the totally innocent driver at the front of the line was Indian so he was at the bottom of the food chain and he was the poor little bugger than ended up copping the blame.
