Default Driving Test Question

Hi and Happy New year to you all.
Does any one know if the following fact is true.
I am taking my driving test at the end of January (with a bit of Luck I might pass)
Is it right that if you have not held an U.K. licence for over a year,
That I Will have to drive with Provisional plates and will only be drive up to 50mph in Oz.
Any advice would be most welcome.
Sorry to bore to have to share the following
Our Good news is that Hubby is arriving in Oz at the end of February.
We have our Medicals on Monday (£613) paid by the company thank goodness.
Did we get a good price for the Medicals for an Family of four?
Finally we have a viewing for our house tomorrow, its all happening

It depends on what State you go to. QLD for example don't have P plates.

I'm beginning to think everyone can only drive at 50mph in Qld - these low speed limits certainly take some getting used to - thank god for cruise control -at least that can behave itself lol
