i have a uk and nz driving license. how long can you drive in aussie on these and how easy is it to get your aussie one? ( nz one so easy)

If you have a proof of residence in Australia, it will take about an hour in total to get an aussie driving license. With your UK license, you don't need to take a driving test.

If it's a car it's simple. If it's something larger you have to go for an assessment with a company.

Not any more. It used to be different, but these days all states will just effectively swap your UK licence for an Australian one, on a PR visa.

No. It's just an easy term to use, but you do keep your UK one.

I think you have up to 3 months on your UK license before you have to get an aussie one.
