Driving licence british
A silly question really, when do you have to change your British driving licence to an Australian one and do you have to do a driving test. Moving to perth WA

It takes into account your driving history, your country of current license and your Visa.
For example, in NSW you do NOT need a NSW Driving License on a Temp Visa and I remained on my UK license for 4 years until I went Permanent Resident last year, then I had to get a NSW License. As I had held a UK license for ages it was a simple issue with no tests whatsoever.

In Perth you are supposed to get a WA driving licence after 3 months. You just take your UK licence and some ID and they will give you a WA one. You have to pay of course, they don't literally 'give' you it.

Oh yeah we did the eye test thats correct. Only takes a moment though, and can do it with glasses if you have them.
