Driving instructors jobs in Australia
 

Hi we are thinking about moving to Australia but Driving Insteuction is only on the CSOL list does anyone know the likelihood of getting sponsorship please? Particularly like the Brisbane Area but obviously understand that may not be possible. Many Thanks

I would think the chances are quite slim, it is very difficult for anyone to secure sponsorship from overseas. No harm in trying though.

Most Driving Instructors are self employed. Also you're presumably a DI in the UK and are therefore trained for the UK Highway Code which, whilst there are many similarities, there are also a large number of differences from the QLD Road Rules (Each State/Territory have different rules as well). I honestly can't see that a DI business would ever consider spending money on employing someone who's a) not here and b) not qualified for our roads.

However if you don't try you don't get so I wouldn't say it's impossible but I imagine it's unlikely. Sorry.

Sponsorship would be highly unlikely, unfortunately.

You would also need to train and qualify over here. It is not that expensive and you will gain an NVQ4 which can be used in other areas of the transport industry.
