Give way to traffic coming from the right

Give way to Utes no matter what direction they are coming from.

LOL - and remember, 4 wheel drives don't understand the phrase 'lane discipline'...

Seriously though, you can swap your uk license for an aussie one. You go into the RTA office, fill in a form and take ID with you, then they take your pic, you pay for a license (3 yr, 5 yr or whatever) and then they put a hole into your uk license to say it's void, and you walk away with an Aussie license.

PS - it's true about the 4x4's

If your going to WA you'll need to take a theory test, pay your money, then get your licence. If your have a motorcycle licence in the UK you also have to do the theory for that.

Swapped my UK licence a few weeks ago and was given my UK one back with the comment, 'We don't hole punch these anymore, it might be useful when you visit UK'

Might be quite handy over here too...

The hole can't void your licence. It only tells the cop that you have another one in another pocket!

Park the direction of the traffic or face a fine.

Also you can get done for going 3kphs over the speed limit and I got fined $173 and 3 demerit points for rolling at approx 1kph over a stop line. They love making money out of the motorists here. However, where are the cops when you see the hoons and crazy drivers?

Infor about on the spot fine in Victoria if that's any help to you.

Thanks, that's a relief then! They said it was no longer valid, at the RTA place.

What theory test? To get our licence we only have to fill in a form have a simple eye test pay a fee then a few days later bobs your uncle Ozzie licence comes through the post

They probably meant that it's no longer valid to use it in Oz.
