dreaded medical-info required
Hi all. Has anyone out there had probs with the medical in relation to high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or angina?
Is it an automatic "NO GO" if these conditions are diagnosed?

I had high blood pressure when I went for my medical with my wife and three small
children ( i shouldnt have been suprised really should I?). The examining doctor
referred me to a private cardiologist who saw me the next day. He took my blood
pressure over a twenty four hour period and diagnosed me as having a white coat
response. His report was sent off with my medical.None of the doctors could tell me
what effect this would have on the application but other postings to this site would
suggest that you have to have quite a serious medical condition to be turned down on
medical grounds.

Hi tad
Just had a rather extensive medical for diabetes. the only bad point was that my blood pressure was 'Borderline' don't know what Oz think cos they've only just received it. but keep an eye on the posts wether yea or nea I will post the answer
