Cold wind howling between the buildings, souless and sterile.........am I wrong? I suppose its like any business district. Does shut down a bit quick though if you ask me.

I know what you mean. I'd say it's more like 5:30pm though . The building I work in on Adelaide Terrace was not built very well & when it's windy sounds like a haunted castle.

I can remember going clubbing back when I was in my early 20's! Was seeing D Ream in concert (remember them???) anyway, we heard a person walking behind us, some distance and me and my friend freaked and sped up a little, and this person sped up too! Turned out to be some girl who was just as freaked as we were at being in Perth after dark!

Most suburbs in Perth, shut down too! I live in West London now and even at 2am on a weekday there are ppl walking around on the high street! Not that I feel any safer!

That's a great description! I work on Adelaide Terrace too and when the wind gusts from a certain direction all the suspended ceiling tiles do a kind of Mexican wave
