Default Down Under Insurance

Looking to take out the Down Under emmigration travel insurance to see us from A-B, has anyone used it? More importantly has anyone had to claim? how was it?
We are arriving on 457 to Melbourne, so will take a couple of weeks to register for Medicare?
Thanks

No, we had annual travel insurance on my OH's amex, and his firm paid for the insurance and shipping for all the stuff we shipped. Sorry I can't help there.

I used Go Walkabout, if you register for Medicare on the day you arrive (at Medicare) you get given a printout of your Medicare number there and then, and then your card will arrive in the post a few weeks later.
