It was 2.70 last night, now it's 2.65 ho do you explain that one eh .......

Better to remember that you are getting more value for your £ by converting it whether it be 2.5 or 2.9. A 10 or even 20% currency fluctuation won't change your life in any way that you would notice, however actually moving to Australia and living in a new Country IS a lifechange that you WILL remember.
