Sounds like you've had / are having a rough time on the work front. But to say "don't bother coming to Queensland" ....... bit strong don't you think?

All over Oz you need to have licences for all sorts of things and really you should research all of this before heading out and get all the references you can get your hands on. I brought so much info with me on all sorts of things. Most of it I haven't needed as it turned out but I'd rather be over-prepared than under.

Most of my experience here has been positive and right now I wouldn't swap it. It hasn't all been roses but I didn't expect Utopia either. Overall Australia / Queensland has definately met my expectations and possibly exceeded them a little.
