Doing one !
Hi,
i thought to myself a while ago, that when the visa grant arrives i'll keep it quiet, go to work with the same attitude as normal and carry on as if nothing has happened.............NO CHANCE.
Since the grant arrived nothing else has been on my mind, we've booked flights for New years eve ( house not sold yet but you never know ) things are starting to move rapidly. Even though it's 7 months off i find that going to work is taking up too much of my time, when i could be doing more important things.
The incentive to perform well for "The Company" has long gone and i just want to walk into the office, raise my middle finger and Do One .
Don't think i can bite my tongue for another 7 months
Being told this week i was taking a pay cut didn't help either.
Arron (totally irrelevant topic , but it's off me chest now )

Not too sure, but gonna get some prof advice.
Don't think they can legally cut my pay, just like that.

My hubbie is feeling exactly the same - Had some heated "discussions" today & really struggled to keep his mouth shut - as you say he wanted to raise the middle finger & tell them all to go to hell - but can't as we have to stay for his sisters wedding on 4 december - & the thing is we already HAVE our visas & put the house on the market last week - I really think that if he had a job offer that we would go if we could sell the house - sod the wedding - we would come back for that!!!!!
cheers

Go sick indefinately by telling them and your doctor you are 'stressed' from work and the pay cut was the final straw. Once you mention stress companies run a mile in case they get sued by the employee and doctors always take your side. 7 months off work - sounds good
