Dogs in OZ
 

We are hoping to move to Perth not sure where just yet,what are the best areas to live in and around? We have a Rhodesian ridgeback who loves alot of exercise,would like to know if there are parks where dogs are able to run off the lead and also are there beaches that allow dogs on?

Check your intended local councils websites for lists of off leash dog exercise areas. We have a Doberman who happily chases / is chased by other dogs in a nice fenced park for an hour a day. Happy tired dog = happy owner.

Its also an excellent way to meet people. A lot of fenced parks tend to have the same people who go there the same time each day around 4-5pm.

I believe there is number of dog beaches around Perth...I have been to at least one :)
