A dog's life
Hi we are hopeful to be heading to Brisbane sometime in the new year. We have a lovely little Cocker Spaniel called Indie who we could not be without and are wondering how other folks pets have coped with the long flight and 30 days quarantine. Donna and Neil

Re: A dog's life
Hiya,
We brought our pampered boxer and I was in tears when we left her at golden arrow shippers.
When she arrived at the quarantine station we were given the mobile number of the girl looking after her and we rang every few days.
She kept telling us she was doing brilliant and eating well and I was thinking 'yeah right course she is'
We Had her flown up to Brisbane and when we collected her we expected this skinny stinky fed up dog.
She looked fantastic...she'd been shampoo, hadnt lost any weight and was definately none the worse for the whole experience.
Hope this helps

Hi Donna & Neil
I'm sure the Indie will be just fine. It's really worrying when a pet is seperated from you isn't it. We have two westie's and we were really concerned about the journey and the quarantine too. When we collected them, they had put a bit of weight on (missing their very long daily walks) but they had obviously been eating ok and looked really healthy. One of them was a bit subdued for a day, but then back to normal in no time. Collection day is brilliant - they just are so excited to see you again. Good luck
