dogs
can anyone tell me if they took there dog with them to australia?
i can't leave him behind and i know it will cost me a lot of money, but i feel it will ruin the emigration if he stays (hes a member of our family now)
i really want to know are there many dogs down under and how do they cope with the heat, mine huffs and puffs at the summer here.
the last thing i want to do is pay to take him and he dies with heat stroke.
also do they have pet insurance, vets etc and can you visit them in quarantine.

Did you think Australia was pet free?

Re: dogs
have two springers, brought them both from scotland right into the middle of the brisbane summer.
Have adjusted fine - just drink much more water. cost around £4k total for both of them (inc quarantine).
