Dog Transport To Melbourne

We are planning to take our Dog on the 8th July to Melbourne Australia. We have done the import/export applications. Our Vet has been informed and dog has been chipped. Our problem is finding a good airline to use at a reasonable cost. We are considering DIY rather than using an agency. Could anyone please give us their advice and any useful information on Airlines/Costs.
