dog quarantine cost
 

Hi all,
i am moving to melbourne later this year and will be taking my 2 dogs. i have a cost for transporting them over but they could not give me a quote for quarantine costs once they arrive. has anyone got an idea of how much it could possibly be so i can budget for it.

we're looking at the same thing for Melbourne, with one of our shipping quotes for our dog, we got given information from AQIS Canberra

all in dollars
39 per day 1st dog
33 per day 2nd dog (sharing)

15 each pet quarantine inspection
88 each pet vet inpection
40 each pet document clearance
25 per air waybill...acs idf a/c screening

to be paid in Australia before release

Seems steep, we paid between $700 and $800 total for our dog 2 1/2 years ago when he was in Melbourne quarantine station.

My dog is in quarantine at the moment at Eastern Creek outside Sydney and it is $39 a day - plus all the other costs (which were already mentioned) once they arrive at quarantine
