For Dog Lovers - Doggy Cafe in Brisbane
For all you dog lovers out there....In Brisbane there is a doggy cafe that serves puppycinnos, puppy frappes and food for your dogs. They also serve humans 
It's located in Gumdale and the website address is www.caninecomfort.net.au
They also stock a wide range of pet food especially if your pet suffers from allergies.
If you're new to Brisbane and you have a dog it's a great way of meeting people.
Also in Brisbane in April k9 Capers - events are being run in the dog walking parks. There's an animal behavourist to give tips on training and also free health checks at some of the events.
Also make sure that you make sure your pet has heartworm prevention tablets/injections and prevention against paralysis ticks. Speak to your local vet paralysis ticks can kill and there are lots of treatments to prevent them. Even if it's not the season it's best to keep the prevention treatment up all year round.
