I'm a girl, well not really a girl I'll be 40:scared: next month. Going back to full time education with two kids (now aged 8 and 1) was tough but totally worth it.

That's the trouble with all these names, half the time you haven't got a clue what sex anyone is:D

Fortunately baby ACE waited until the Easter holidays before he made his big entrance which gave me 10 to recover before going back to uni and sitting my second year finals 3 weeks later.

After that getting the visa and moving to Oz should be a breeze(not likely)

Thanks Walla 1, what's your degree in? The thing is we didn't realise until I was half way through my degree that I didn't need it to get a visa. It turns out that we can use my husbands 20 years experience in the oil industry along with an NVQ level 3 to obtain our visa, he has just finished that and we are preparing our skills assessment paperwork.

I'm really glad I did it, I'm so much more confident, the prospect of moving to the other side of the world doesn't scare me I just feel excited, though that may change. ;)

I can't wait to start the imigration process now, I view all the preparation and paperwork as another dissertation:zzz: , but like a good dissertation worth it in the end.

If we were staying here I would definately have gone the AST route. I would still like to do something like that in Oz but it seems that the challenge will be getting a job in the first place.
