Does sponsor need to submit ASSURANCE o r guarantee money?
Hi
Does sponsor need to submit guarantee money? I've applied for Australia. My father's brother can sponsor me.Will he be asked to deposit some assurance money or guarantee money with the related authority? Please reply ASAP.

Both used to be $4000 and they have to say you will support you for first 2 years if needed.Best of Luck

We're near the end of the visa process and my sponsor was requested to lodge $5000 with the Commonwealth Bank ($3500 for me and $1500 for my spouse) This is returnable with a small amount of interest after 2 years.

Someone else can lodge the assurance, or your father's brother can do
so. He's got to sponsor you though.
