Does London tell you when they get your visa? Any Idea on how long it will take,we have sent a spouse visa off for hubby.Just waiting to hear that they got I suppose.

Did you send the passport in with the application? If you did you won't hear anything until the passport arrives back at home with the visa in it. If you didn't include the passport, you will just get a letter requesting the passport. Generally it all takes about a week, rarely for straightforward cases, more than two.

no didnt put passport in hubby said no they didnt ask for it ,I said the wise people on here said do it but he is such a chicken sometimes about stuff.so hopefully will get the send passport down letter.

Hello, im new to this forum but have been looking for a while and getting useful advised. I sent off for my partners de facto spouse visa on the 27july, they have taken money already.We sent the application off without the police check but that arrived yesterday,so ill send that off today along with the passort to them.So if everything is as it should be it could only take weeks to come back then, thats great news.
