Does anywhere sell BLACK plugs over here?
Hi all,
Yes i know, bit of a saddo question but i can get grey ones & white ones but have not managed to find black Aussie plugs, I know they do make them cos we have bought things with them on but can't find them anywhere, i want to change the plugs on my straightening irons, clippers etc that i have brought over from the UK (as in salons over here you have to supply all those things yourself), i really don't want to have to go out and buy all of them again but white or grey will look totally out of place & unprofessional, the only other option is to take the black ones off stuff i have bought and swap them for white/grey & use the backs for my H/dressing tools,

No. You can only get white, clear and I think, grey.
The clear ones are the best bet.

I think you have to have them 'tagged' by an electrician when you are going to use anything electrical in the work place

My BIL replaced all mine for me last year about 10 of them, they are all black ! he got them from Bunnings in Mindarie. It was last year though so dont know if they still do them

Just had a thought, they will probably have to be sealed plugs anyway, best get down the wholesalers i suppose and just not think about how much its gonna cost, will send Uk stuff back with my mum when she comes over in Dec to pass on to my friend.
