Red face Does anyone need to sell furniture in November time?

Hi there,

I am new to the forum, and will be moving to Melbourne for 2 years with my boyfriend in November 2009.

We will be looking to rent a 2 bedroom apartment, and I understand that most properties are unfurnished. As such, I wanted to put out the feelers to see if there is anyone here who would be looking to sell any second hand furniture around that time, perhaps if you are moving on.

Thanks!

Op shops, local papers, notice boards in shopping centres, free ad magazines, garage sales etc etc. Don't forget to look in the Classifieds on here as advertising for anything is not allowed on open forum so people post their stuff for sale there.

Brotherhood of St. Lawrence shops are pretty good for beds, sofas, tables, chairs, TV's etc.
