Hi

We are looking at taking a rental property in the newish 'executive' golf course development in Lawnton.....does anyone know what this area is like, and whether it is child friendly?

It's erm... different. I couldn't possibly comment on the whole of the area as I haven't seen it, this is just a snapshot that I'm giving.

And to my mind the words "executive" and "golf course" don't usually sit well with "child friendly"

Lawnton is ok 'ish',some parts are quiet & some parts look run down,scruffy,graffiti etc..don't really think i would recommend it if i was being honest
If its a new area maybe that would be nicer (haven't heard about the golf course development) as for child friendly, most areas are,plenty of childcare centres around that area,you also have schools near by, the swimming pool,train station,local shops,post office,furniture shops,BCF etc...your also in between the Strathpine shopping centre & the centre at Northlakes.

Lawnton based on Arkon scaling of 1 to 4 wouldnt even make the starting line.

Thanks for your help and advice....we are moving over in 3 weeks and we've never lived in Brisbane before!
Starting to panic now, as we have nothing organised!
