Documents for skills assessment

Hi all,

I'm just about to get all my documents ready for skills assessment to the ACS. Figured that it's about time I got off my butt and started the whole thing rolling.

I know that ACS accepts certified true copies, and it even encourages us to send copies instead of originals, for fear of loss/damage etc.

I have a statutory declaration with me that I will need to send to ACS, as one of my reference letters was written on plain paper (without company letterhead) as the company has since ceased operations.

Has anyone sent a certified true copy of a statutory declaration and gotten it accepted by ACS or other skills assessing authority?

I don't want to risk sending the original statutory declaration as it costs me S$40 each time I want the Notary Public to sign the darn paper!

Thanks.

Regards,
Peter
