Doctors, medication and Asthma

Hi all,

Just wondered if anyone had any useful links to sites with regards to Health and medication in New Zealand?
I have Asthma a need to make sure I can get the same medication in Nz. I have read a couple of threads about Doctors fees and prescription costs.

But just wondered if anyone had more details regarding

1) costs?
2) If it is possible to sign up with a doc on a work visa?
3) How I can take my medical notes with me?

Thanks
Tori

yes you can sign up with a doc on a work visa
I believe the cost of each visit to the docs to be $30=£10
you can get a copy of your medical notes from your doc the surgery will advise you of the cost as some seem to charge and some don't
hope this helps
regards
