Do you think it's a good idea...
Hi,
Do you think it's a good idea for me to get a 'Single Status Certificate' to include in my application for a spouse visa (de facto)?
My man was married and we have to include his divorce papers. But do I have to prove that I'm single too for this visa?
I could (hypothetically) still be married to someone else while claiming de facto partnership. Does DIMIA therefore need real proof of my single status? It doesn't say anywhere that they do, but I'm confused!
Has anyone been asked to provide such a certificate for this visa class?
