Do you remember when we were kids??
 

Do you remember back a few years ago now when we were kids you could buy buckets that were like castles for making superb sand castles in, and then you would buy a packet of little flags and put them into the turretts of the castle??

Anyone seen anything like that for sale here in Oz?? :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Toyshops sell buckets and spades etc. Never seen any little flags, though.

I got little flags on cocktail sticks at a party shop......aussie and union jack flags.

I know they do but not seen the ones like I described, just your bog standard round bucket type!

Woolies or Coles, in the section with party plates etc, usually have some. They cost about $2 for a pack (don't know how many are in them though :D)

K-mart have the buckets with the square type cut out top your talking about, and as for thelittle flags only came across them in the british shop in birkdale and they have st george cross, welsh and scottish flags in the mini type that you put on top of your castles

Or just buy cocktail sticks, tape and paper and get the kids making their own. Keep them quiet for ages ;):D

Believe it or not i saw the castle type buckets in that cheap car shop . Can't remember the name , is it 'super cheap autos' or something like that.??

We brought a sandcastle kit to Oz with us that we bought in the UK from Bright Minds.

Yes that is the type of bucket, although I think that one when you include the postage is VERY expensive!! All we want is the bucket not all the other stuff, we already got that!!

But thank you shows they do make them here in Oz!!
