Have transferred money both from and to UBank (a NAB's division) from 23rd to 25 Nov. There was a one to two days' delay resulting in interest loss (as statement dates shown for the transactions were not the same as those of the other transferor or transferee bank). Called the customer hotline and they said that they will make an interest adustment or compensation around the middle of December. Have to wait then to see.

Just logged on AGAIN to see if things were sorted and HERE WE GO AGAIN, we had transferred more money into the joint account earlier today as our car payment is due out this week, THAT money has now gone and ALL THREE of our accounts are showing as 0.00!!! NAB you are gone mate, you are gone, WESTPAC, we're a coming!!!! :curse:

We are $8000 overdrawn
hubby bought car on thurs and transfered money from uk on weds car payment gone out .... Uk transfer still in limbo - only been here 3 weeks but have no money and probably bad credit reference... The problems have hit the headlines- charges should be repaid... But that doesnt buy food for tea

v. true. All of the big four banks use essentially the same tech and core banking systems. It all runs peachy fine, until something goes wrong, and then it tends to go badly wrong. SCAB, WestPacPicPocket, ZZZ, Hellbank (a.k.a CBA) - they are essentially the same when it comes to their major incident management in these Sev1 situations.

Bankwest has no charges either and is a great bank. I know that CBA has bought them out but they are functioning as Bankwest and have not changed

Ive just checked my telephone banking as I should have been paid friday and even this morning it wasnt showing as being paid. Well it has now so something has happened today.
I then checked online to see if theres been double payments etc going out and its gives my balance as zero.
The phone says one thing, the internet says another.

just checked and my account finally sorted..
i think you just have to visit branch if any charges are incurred - they wont chase up us

ah crap i saw the notice when I logged in yesterday but nothing seemed amiss but NOW i've checked again and I have been plunged into the red by funds that I know have gone in but aren't showing and double (poss triple on one of mine) draw outs. WHAT THE???
And I live in NZ so can't go into my branch until Christmas when I just KNOW they will be closed....
