Ok just to put the record straight i HATE Eastenders with a passion!! BUT
My other half loves it (no accounting for taste)
She is telling me that you can get eastenders in Oz, is this true?

She is telling me that its like Neighbours as in we get it 18months behind.

They skipped months of "Home And Away" in the UK by mistake and nobody complained ... that's how closely people follow this stuff.

Dont get me wrong i'm sure that LOTS of poeple like it, its just that its SOOOOO DEPRESING!
Might take up a hobby of walkabout or leave the missus in the UK

No its Eastenders is not on Australian TV, but you might be able to get it
on cable or Pay TV, but l'm not sure.

Thanks for the reply, i told her that there is no way of getting Eastenders on Aus TV and she said that she will get people in the UK to copy it and then send it out to her in the post.............

you can get it on uktv on foxtel everyday !! little mos just been sent down for hitting trever with an iron and ians sleeping with janine and shes trying to blackmail him ! not that ive been watching it or anything and in coronation street richard hillman kills maxine today !
i looked in the foxtel tv guide to find this info out honest !!!

I have travelled round the world in my time (folks in Navy and me in RAF so i am sort of used to differemt cultures etc but she has never been on a plane nor left the UK before Oh and she HATES spiders and anything with more legs that her which is about 1000 times smaller than herself! (boy am i gonna have fun winding her up )

Heh heh! For ages, I thought there was a gap in the market & that we need a soap called 'WestEnders', about all the murder, crime, drug taking, deception and sexual frolics that afflict us folk who live West Of The Yarra.

Then I discovered Blue Heelers - and never looked back....!

OP: tell your missis that, although it's a cop show, Blue Heelers is even better. And it's not on all year round, either, so one's other half gets a break from it (tho they're running thru all the old series on daytime TV, so one can video them... )
