Do you find that when you tell people that you are moving to oz everyone says that you are doing the right thing and that they wish that they had the courage to do it, then you say that it is achievable they sort of try to give you reasons on why they would not be able to do it. So does it really take a special kind of person to have the get up and go about them to go and do it. Well i thought i was being selfish by wanting to give my family a better life and disturbing my family and friends.

No you are not selfish and are just as special as everyone else on this forum must be :)

true, im sure we all face the same attitude from people, but selfish, definately not - you only get one go at life, may as well live it to the full, do what you want to do.

I have found:
a lot said they thought about going once but couldn't for family reasons
a lot already have friends or family there
a lot say wow I wish I had the courage to do something like that
no one has said we must be mad

Even my parents who are naturally very disappointed said I don't blame you, England has gone to the dogs and you have to take a chance on your dreeams
