do we need a pass to see the fireworks from near the opera house
im new here in sydney and want to go to city to see the fireworks and search on internet abt best spots to see the fireworks,
do we need a pass to reach those points or is it open for everyone, becoz some one told me that one needs a pass to reach those spots.

A lot of areas are free but you need to be there early in the day as they get "closed", i.e., the police stop more people coming into the areas once they get full.
