Do we need an international driving license?
Do we need an international driving license before travelling to Oz, seem to remember getting one when we travelled before but this was 10yrs ago! Also in Victoria do you have to re-sit your driving test? Hope not!

No, as long as you get your licence changed within a few weeks of arriving, you can get an Australian licence with your UK one - you may have to take an eye test but otherwise there is a reciprocal agreement and it's a straight swap.

In Victoria, it is just a case of doing a straight swap. If you are on a PR Visa you have 3 months to change your license over. You can read more on the Vic Roads website here: http://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/Home/...rsLicences.htm
