Hi,
I'm a diving instructor, lived in Australia a few years ago, and want to go back and settle there, ie migrate. I've looked at the immigration website and there seem to be certain occupations that scores points - how much (if anything would a diving instructor get? It's not on the list but might come under something else??

Also, I've heard that it's possible to invest money in the state as a way of migrating to Queensland (where I'd be looking). Does anyone know where I'd go for further information on this? Such as how much, for how long and what criteria there is

Sorry but I think diving instructor doesn't get any points. There are a few professions/ lines of work that fall into the 'not wanted' category, eg until recently doctors.

I'm a Diving instructor and this was never an option for getting to Oz. Hence I became an Accountant. They're very similar jobs after all.
