Can anyone help ?

I've been given a number by my c/o to fax through a document. The number is (08) 8237 6595.

I've tried sending the fax to :-

00-61-08-8237-6595

and

00-61-8--8237-6595

but both numbers just return a continuous tone.

Can anyone help me with the correct fax number ?

00-61-8--8237-6595 rings out for me if I dial it on a normal telephone line. Are you sure the fax line allows international dialing (a lot of companies don't allow this from most of their fax machines/phones, I know my previous one didn't)

Just tried it for you from my fax no problem fax at other end answered.

00 61 8 8237 6595

Try again.

Make sure that the line you are using is enabled for international etc, many are not.

I've just found out that our fax machine at work uses a line which has been blocked for making outgoing international calls

The company I work for are real tight-wads

Anyway, I took the document to a print shop over the road and they faxed it for me and only charged me a couple of quid. Job done and minimal hassle.
