Digital TV's - Aus/UK
 

Does anyone know if Australian digital tv's will work with the UK digital tv system?

We are trying to decide whether to take ours and hard disc recorder back with us.

If you are using the tele just as a monitor - e.g. using a set top box etc, then it should be okay.

If you want to use the tele as the receiver, Oz broadcasts digital on VHF (with some exceptions) and in the UK it's UHF. However, most teles can pick up both but you'd need to check.

Can't answer for the hard disc recorder.

All the voltages, frequency etc are the same in each country.
