Quick one. Can I take my Digital Terrestrial receiver and will it work in OZ (freeview)

Major digital transmitters are on VHF, whereas in UK they are UHF. Generally UK boxes wont tune to VHF...so it wont work.

Just a few booster transmitters are UHF, so there is a slim chance that you may be on one of these and able to get it to work.

Buy a new one here. You can get a HD box for less than $100.

Digital is definitely worth it here, as you get to watch the Grand Prix's live and also lots of good comedy programmes on ABC2 at the moment
