Differences between Aus and NZ?
A lot is written on here about the differences between Aus and the UK and NZ and the UK, but not much about the differences between Aus and NZ.
We all have a tendency to lump them in together, but perhaps those who have lived in both could tell us some differences - it might help us all decide which one we want to move to....
Here's one rather silly one - which perhaps illustrates a difference in Aussie and Kiwi male's sensitivities...

So, for those who have lived in both, what do you all see as the primary differences between Australia and New Zealand? Anything...?
Here's a few more differences I can think of:
- Snakes, spiders, and weird mammals (in Aus)
- the stereotypical confidence/brashness of Australians
- The heat (in Aus)
- Aussie rules football
- The role Maori play in NZ compared to role Aborigine play in Aus..??
And a few similarities:
- huge rotary clothes lines that in the downwards shape and with a handle to lower them
- the way sports is integrated with all walks of life
- Tim Tams
