Re: Dieter's for OZ
Hello again everyone
I will join you once again, now we have a CO and are a bit closer reality seems to be biting a little. I am doing the calorie counting thing and so far have managed one week tomorrow. Also training for the race for rice albeit soporadically. Can't run today as I have a cold and can't even breathe when I am sat still never mind running.
Anyway, good luck to everyone, let this be the last time we try to lose weight.

It will be worth waiting for. It took me 7 years to fall on then i ended up with 3 very close in age.
Take it easy and chill out, accept any pampering as you wont get any when little one gets here. A healthy diet will be fine and you shouldn't put that much on.
Take care

No this is not my first..I have a 41/2yr old and she is just gorgeous.I sadly miscarried last year hence being quieter about this one. Sadly I don't have years to "catch" unless I want to be like that 63yr old.!!No thanks.... Maybe good for her but not for me..!!
I was only given less than 5% chance of falling naturally again....still just goes to show eh !!Never give up on your dreams..!!

Hi all, great to get such a good response, it would be a shame for this thread to die. I admit I've not been around the last few months as much as I used to on here, but now am feeling more settled on the other side would love to continue chatting on here.
Of course it's not all about dieting, there's all the milestones that everybody is going through re visas, the daily ups and downs of everyday family life and a good old gossip.
Congrats to 'lady with child', what fantastic news!
Now the truth is I didn't go for a run this morning, overslept but there is always tomorrow. Anyway I am not very good at running, didn't even try till a few weeks ago, but surprisingly enjoyed it. I run for a bit and then when I get breathless, I just power-walk. The sun is usually shining when I wake up so I am quite keen to get up and do something.
I daren't weigh myself until Friday, having had hubby over here for the last 2 weeks I have been drinking everynight and also not eating like I would if he's not around.
Good luck everybody in your new goals and targets, anyone want to share them with us?
I want to lose half a stone in a month :scared: I am weighing approximately 10.7 stone at present (will confirm weight on Friday)
We had a TV programme on over here called Biggest Loser, it was very inspiring and put me to shame when I only want to lose half a stone. What people can achieve is truly amazing. We probably had the same or similar weight-loss show in UK.
Bye for now
Theresa

How long till hubby is with you permanently?
We are hoping to be leaving uk mid september and I would like to lose - wait for it - 2 1/2 stone before then.
I made a good start this week and have lost 4lbs, running does help though I am crap at it. I have decided I want to be able to run along the beach early morning or in the evening when I get to Perth. So we are taking it slowly, it's more like a dead stop this week but hey can't run if I can't breathe eh.
Anyway, we get the biggest loser here but it is the US one, and you are right they do incredible things. The change in the people on t he show is amazing, but they do have another goal apart from weight loss, they all want to win the $250,000 prize.
Anyway, time to tidy up now and maybe get dressed.
Have a great day all
Shirley
P.s It may seem that I haven't congratulated Pants, but you know I am sooooo very pleased for you x
