Default diesel engines

Ok lads..probably not the best place to ask but this is the only forum i use...wife has got a diesel car and the glow light keeps lighting up whilst driving , and as i aint never had a diesel b4 im not sure where to begin looking. ...any ideas....rather than accept that im stupid, but understand the off side rule...any help would be helpful..

i took it for a test drive and the turbo aint kicking in..RAC reckons its a dealer issue so thats that. Oh well good job the pubs walking distance.

Water in fuel line, or faulty sensor for such.
Citroen by any chance? [this happened on our C3, garage (Citroen) didn't know the m'facturers fitted this warning indicator either ]
Turbos kick in quite late too.
