Did anyone immigrate to Aus as a Gardener.
Hi
Just wondering if anyone out there immigrated to Aus as a Gardener? If so whereabouts are you in Aus? My husband did and we are in the driest state going, but we are on the 495 visa sponsored by SA!.

The reason why I asked this as my husband lost his job today (was casual got let go due to budget). We haven’t seen a gardening job advertised in the whole of Adelaide for months and months. Seen plenty advertised in Brisbane – but we can’t go there because of stupid 495 visa (it sucks). We really don’t want to go home. I know that we can go to other regional areas (with permission from SA) that is why I asked the question. FED UP BIG TIME.

I can't be of any help, but I would imagine that the ACT, NSW and even Victoria are no different. With the water restrictions in the south east these days people cannot even maintain small household gardens. In Canberra it is illegal to water your lawn!
