Did anyone else have this problem at meds?
Hiya. whole family had our meds week before last. Kids fine. But hubby and I both showed a trace of blood in the urine. He said it was a microscopic amount. Anyway, went to our GP next day and he sent more urine off to labs and those came back with negative blood in urine, for both.
Now what?! What will DIMIA want us to do? Did anyone else have this problem at all? :( |

Now what?! What will DIMIA want us to do? Did anyone else have this problem at all? :( I'm sure it's nothing to worry about. A slight trace of blood in urine can be caused through mild dehydration. Our panel doctor told us to make sure we drank loads of water on day of meds to make sure that we gave clear samples. Sarah |

we have been down this path, what you need to do is see your GP and ask him to refer you to a one stop haematuria clinic, they so all the investigations in one day xrays ultrasounds and cystoscopy, ( look inside the bladder ) there may be a bit of a delay but it would be done and dusted. best wishes bex 66 |

Re: Did anyone else have this problem at meds?
Thanks guys for all the advice. Think we will ask the GP about the clinic. Sounds like the best way to go then can send DIMIA their report, hopefully that will keep them happy. It's just a hassle we could do without...you know what I mean!
