Maybe I'm odd (ok ok) but why would anyone want to read a blog of someone they don't know 
I have started one (not told anyone the address yet though ) so that once I've moved, friends and family and keep up to date if they want. I couldn't give a monkey's uncle what Fred in Idaho is up to

Looks like there will never be a definitive answer. We are all so different (thank heavens), all wanting different things in life and from the Forum.
As I have concluded in many of my own posts in relation to this and other threads, if you don't like one, just leave it and move on.
