They do encourage readers to submit photos. And I believe they pay quite well too.
Maybe I'm thinking of a different publication, but it did have lots of maps of Tassie in it

Just looking around at several article on Tassie, you will notice that Tassie is an island state and therefore surrounded by water.
This has in turn made it a very nautical place and if often full of seamen, in fact once a year Sydney comes to Hobart and the place fills with seamen!

We were so impressed with the place that we bought his'n'hers T-Shirts, that way we could never get lost:

But I must admit that I'm not a big fan of Tassie when the seamen are there. If you ask me they are a bunch of drunken louts who get everywhere, and the locals are for ever cleaning up after them.

"Nudge nudge, wink wink, saynmore, say no more!!
So whats it like?"

Maybe until you are experienced, you should stick to straight landing. Get your landing gear out in plenty of time and make sure everything is well oiled beforehand.

More than one Pilot has been "talked in". And in bad weather they are known to have been groping in the dark, hoping to find a way in.

On another thread I was just made aware, that sometimes that headlands can be quite a different colour from south?
Something about cuffs and collars not matching.
Has anyone noticed this?
