hi everyone, still waiting for tra to come back been 51 days now!

good news though i think! my agent tells me that i can apply for a skilled designated area sponsor visa which they say only takes 4-6 months, can anybody confirm this, i dont want to build my hopes up too much.

alledgedly so
we went this route, even though we had enough points for 136, but were told it would be fast tracked on the 139, but ours took 19 months

It was at the time where everything was backlogged so it may not be a fair comparrison, i'm just bitter

I applied for a 139 at the end of August 2003 and had the visas by 31st December 2003

We applied 139 end ov Sept 2003
Visas's granted 12th March 2004

but we held it up by a month as hubby worked away from home so was difficult arranging meds

Hi there I applied 139 10th Jan and am just waiting for my bond request -meds etc requested feb - oz police check backlog held me up 2 months but seems to be pretty speedy at the moment looking on timeline.

ours took nearly 4 months

house has taken 4 months, whole process just over a year
